I read an explanation today. The officials gave them the time needed. Auburn kept moving the punter around but not subbing him in or out. Bama kept trying to counter by running their punt returner in and out. The officials made the right call there.

What’s the NCAA going to do without Bama in the playoffs this year? I wouldn’t be surprised if the playoff format isn’t bumped up to 8 teams after this year!!! I’ve got zero sympathy for Saban and Bama!!!

I just heard his "unfair"comment. Said that the refs should have given them more time. It was just a stupid comment and sounded like crying over spilled milk.

They should have blown the play dead for no apparent reason, have a conference, then give no explanation before resuming play.

Bama was lines up for a punt return when Auburn did a quick substitution that had Alabama scrambling. They were baited into it and took it hook line and sinker. They left their returner on the field and had their 11 man defense on the line.

It was called correctly and Saban should be saying things like “I shouldn’t have fallen for it” rather than making excuses and blaming the refs

One thing that stands out to me more than anything else with Alabama is their defense the last couple years! Ray Charles can see the huge void since Pruitt left Bama. I think the defense was worse this year than last year. Saban rode Tua (make no mistake he’s the real deal) last year and part of this year until he got hurt. Offense is important but defense wins championships!!
