Did SEC finally pay for their officiating incompetence?

Why in the hell was the incomplete pass called complete not reviewed right before halftime? They have one freaking job, and that's to review those type plays. Is the review official in Birmingham? Where are they located?
All the people I was watching with were looking at each other with a "WTF" expression when it wasn't reviewed. Then when they showed the replay it was laughing in disbelief

No question, I’ll call it lazy officiating, resulted in Alabama getting a TD before the half. That “catch” should have been reviewed. Seems every good catch by an opponent vs Alabama is. Several other questionable calls, majority in Alabama’s favor, also occurred in the game that resulted in knocking Ga out of the CFP & maybe Alabama is out too.

Did the SEC officiating incompetence finally cost the league a CFP berth?

Isn’t it time for SEC members start demanding the conference upgrade their crews? They’re losing their best each year to the NFL.
The football gods stepped in and ripped the CFP from UGA's hands, and I love it.

I think there is a obvious bias toward Alabama. Seems they get to play by a different set of rules than anyone else.. I'd love it if they left them out.. They won't and Bama will bring their officials with them to the playoff. On the bright side maybe Satan retires after they hand deliver him another title..
I hope so. So tired of watching this crap.

The SEC should get a outside crew (ACC, PAC 10, Big 10 (whatever they are now) to ref. the SEC championship game.
That would eliminate the Bama loving refs.

Been telling you all for years that Alabama plays be a completely different set of rules in the SEC. I have not watched a SEC Championship game the last 10 years with the exception of LSU when they won the NC. I will be a Wolverine fan this bowl season and hope they send the cheaters home.

It’s not actually bias towards Bama though. It’s bias towards whatever is best for the conference. I think they may have outsmarted themselves trying to get two teams in this time though.
It is certainly bias in favor of Bammer first and foremost. However, I do agree the league stacked everything in Bubbas favor last night to get them in, thinking UGA would also get in. For sure, this was the plan, without any doubt in my mind whatsoever. We seen this trick many times

Would it be better if college football referees were not aligned to a specific conference, similar to how MLB umpires are just MLB umpires, not NL or AL umpires anymore?
You don't want fairness now do you? God forbid! If we had a national umpires league the leagues couldn't control the outcomes, now would it?

Freaking ridiculous that play wasn't reviewed. Georgia should have gotten the ball in great field position. And it wasn't a horse collar tackle either. The Gumps get all the calls, POS.
Bs that was a catch and it was 100% a horse collar. Sheesh I hate Bama more than u guaranteed, but they got those right.

No, they did not get it right. The ground assisted in the catch, which makes it an incomplete pass. Whether it was a catch or not, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVIEWED. All camera angles show that at no time did the hand go under the jersey, no penalty.
