Did Tennessee tank the game on purpose?

You are exactly right. In-your-face defense has given us trouble all year. Add to that the fact we can be easily out hustled, aggressive defense and hustle is our Achilles' heel. We won't make it through the first weekend in the big dance.
We’ll probably make it out.. we’re gonna play a 7/10 the second game, probably not gonna have a Tolu Smith or a Hubbard level kid.. msu is a special case, and will probably be a 6-8 seed, but they’d probably be two games better if Tolu had played all year, maybe 3 games better. 23-11 or 24-10 is a maybe a 4 seed..

X,facebook,Instangram and all the other get me some time in front of someone. He is/was the main reason I left 24/7 sports after eight years. This is just totally STUPID of him and his kind.A Vol fan and trackteam member since 1966.This is so beneath the intelligence of a large group of painteaters.

No, they did this crap all year (like Texas A&M). They tend to have a game ever 4-5 weeks where they just don't show up and look like they don't even belong in the top 25.

THEY BEAT UT TWICE
And here’s where your logic falls apart. So I guess Alabama is better than Mississippi State since Bama beat MSU twice. But wait, that’s not all. We’re better than Bama since we beat Bama twice. How can all that be true though? MSU is better than us but worse than Bama, who is worse than us. Maybe, it’s because your premise was wrong from the start.

Transitivity doesn’t apply. My logic is that TN is 0-2 versus MSU and the last one was very one sided. If you can’t beat a team head-to-head then it makes little sense to suggest that you’re better than that team.

Or maybe they’re just a bad matchup for us. They would’ve had far more than 8 losses against our schedule. Crap, they had far more than 8 losses against a weaker schedule. I love how you’re selectively applying your own standard. I’m not saying anything about transitivity. I’m using your own logic and it fails.

Edit: It doesn’t matter TGO. You think Miss St is better and I think they’re a bad matchup. Who cares? Let’s enjoy Selection Sunday and hope the Vols make history this year!

What is even the point of the SEC Tournament? Is the winner of the tournament considered to be the best team in the SEC, and if so, what's the point of being the regular season champion? Does it impact NCAA seeds as much as people want to believe? It's stupid. Just seems like a conference money grab. Does anyone really believe State and A&M are better than UT or UK? I've never cared about this tournament.
Well it does give one team an automatic bid. Kind of a big deal. I love watching the smaller conferences battle it out for that bid. I also think back to GA making an incredible run many years ago to win and get the bid.
