Did you ENJOY the Disappointment in Greg McElroy's Voice?

And it isn't even close. Had to mute the Miami game with him screaming and shouting on virtually every play. Brutal.
Yep, I will mute every game he calls. It's beyond annoying to overdramatize every play. It's nonsense

Ever since he mouthed off on Tony V. I've lost ALL respect! (Yeah...I know he supposedly "apologized", but I DON'T CARE!)

For those of us not fortunate enough to be at the Game...i ENJOYED his Crimson Tears!!!

I think the only reason he apologized was because he knew Tennessee has a big fan base. He apologized to save viewership. Why would he care about baseball? He clearly doesn’t like Tennessee.

Yeah, I wonder what Deboer thinks about the noise in Neyland after last night. He can lie if he wants but the noise affected his players.
Right on. That crowd was very loud the whole game. It was electric. There is no way it didn't affect the players and the coaches ability to get calls into the field. The V4L crowd was a huge factor last night.

Not sure who said it, but the "Another crowd-influenced penalty" comment made me chuckle.

C'mon man! That's not a comment on the officiating, it's praising the effect of the noise in Neyland. Let's not look for things where they don't exist.

My wife and I were driving home from the beach yesterday afternoon. We listened to the 1st half and half of the 3rd quarter on the VOL Radio Network on SiriusXM.

At the end of the 2nd quarter my wife asked me who the announcers were. I told her about Bob Kesling and Pat Ryan. She said she thought they were just fans doing a podcast. She had no idea they were the (professional) voices of the VOLS. She said it was just boring and not very rah rah for the home team.

I had to agree.

I have a newborn, so I’ve spent quite a bit of time this season listening to other games on the Sirius app while putting the baby down. Every school I have listened to so far has a more engaging and “enthusiastic for their team” broadcast for radio than we do.

McDonough is so underrated. I’ll always remember his call of the 98 Florida game.

Brad Nessler and McDonough are by far the best around anymore, but I don't even know who I would list next. The pickin's are very slim these days. You're doing okay if you can avoid Tessitore, and I would say Fowler except that getting him means you're playing the showcase game of the week.

Tim Priest made Kesling tolerable, but I just can't listen to vol network without him anymore. Kesling will always get a bad rap since he's following a legend, but it just leaves a lot to be desired

Sean Mcdoucheburger wasn’t all that great calling the game either. It was nice to serve McElroy a big fat L on a platter though.
At some point today, someone said - and it may have been on ESPN - that Tennessee beat Alabama for “just the second time in 18 games.” True, but we have also beaten them “twice in the last 3 games.” Stats are funny things aren’t they. I’ll take “2 out of the last 3 for $800 Ken….” GBO!

I don’t care who calls games anymore. For some time, I watch all sports events muted. It makes them more enjoyable for me.

So dumb of ESPN to even have him in the booth. Maybe Manning can call the next Alabama game.
