Did you hear Musburger (Miami/UF)?

I'm not sure what is more ludicrous:
1) That the story might actually be true and anybody could be that vain
2) That anyone would actually make it out to be indicative of anything other than an honest mistake;
3)That you would actually be happy about it.

Actually GA Vol, you're right. Im being a hypocrite and I'm glad you called me on it. I would never root against the team just so we could have new coaches, so why would I like to see bad publicity for the program for that purpose?

Thank you. I actually like to be corrected than continue being wrong about something. :good!:

If he would have came here odds are that he would sit right beside of 4 star rb creer on the bench. Got to get Arian his carries.

After seeing the results of the 2nd weekend in CFB, we are in deep dodo. Oh Crap, Florida appears to have a defense too! We might be in for a very long season....:good!:

Jury is still out with me about the UF D....everyone in the stadium knew UM would have to run the ball with their two young QB's having hardly any experience at this level.

didn't he sign with Auburn or somebody coming out of high school, not make the grade, go to prep school and then go to Miami?

Miami scored way less points on FL(3) than UCLA did on us. Do you think UCLA is that much better than Miami?

Different games against different teams...every game has it's own dynamics..if you played the UCLA/UT game again...UT may shut them out...you just dont know how they will play out.

Musberger's a Big 10 homer and hates the SEC. He's the biggest jerk on sports TV.

GaVol. . .my sentiments exactly!! As soon as I heard that last night, I knew people on here would make it an issue! Just ridiculous.

It's dog pile time for Fulmer in the media. He is an easy "big" target. If the shoe fits...

Are you kidding!?? UF showed me they can be run against and slant patterns can work too. If I was left with one thought after that game last night was that the Vols will beat Florida IF they take care of penalties, get solid play for the OL and DL and above all. . . challenge the Gators head up by running the ball and playing aggressive D on the corners. Berry can play center field and worry about the long ball!

Nah, I dont think thats exactly it. I used to think he was a USC homer, then an OSU homer. But I think what he really is, and alot of media people are, is a homer for the team that the network wants to win in order to get better ratings in January. Sometimes thats USC, sometimes its Michigan, other times Florida. Teams like LSU or Tennessee, for example, have fanatical support in their region but are programs they'd rather not see because they arent big in the major markets they happen to be targeting.

Gawd, you sound like the Dawg fans here. They all say they would have beaten the Vols nine out ten times they played. I just say, hey, they only played once, the one that counts.:)

Miami looks like a team heading in the right direction.

I wish we had their Frosh.

Sean Spence is absolutely for real. That hit he had on Brandon James made watching that game worth it.

Cooper will be an absolute beast, Marve is for real, and Jacory Harris might be too. Young receivers will grow along with the quarterbacks, and with the ACC this down, they could be back in domination mode soon.

He said Fulmer called 5 star RB, 2006 Mr. Football in Tennessee, Graig Cooper from Memphis, ..."Craig"...and it pissed him off enough to dump us and go to Miami.

Attention to details anyone? Doing the little stuff? If you flub a name you surely will flub a game(s).

I don't think he even said that. He mentioned that Cooper hates being called Craig and Fulmer called him that. He then said that he eventually went with Miami, not that he went to Miami because Fulmer called him Craig. It was an anecdote. Correlation does not mean causation. I imagine his choice of Miami over UT may have had something do to with the large stable of good RB's he would have had to claw his way through to get a touch here and there.

Well, he is a great player, but you've got to wonder just how many of those rotating key chain displays this guy has turned trying to find his name spelled the way he likes it.

Actually Cooper was not impressive at all against the gators. I thought there other back ran much harder. He would see little playing time at UT. I do think Marve has the potential to bring the U back, but they are no where near ready to be dominate. Shannon was pissed at the end of the game with the late scoring and will be ready to bring it to Florida in the future.
