Didn't Realize Franklin Was That Big of a Loser

Look no further than trying to hide a rape by several players while at Vandy. That told me all I need to know about Franklin. Fits in well at Pedophile State. They prefer to hide things too.
This right here he belongs there

What in the world? That is a lateral move at the absolute best. Their defense was great this year. Did Clemson just money whip him or something?
I don’t get it either . Despite the last 10 years of success that Clemson had had, I view Penn State as a better job w/ a better trajectory. They must’ve given him a 💰

The only bigger doosh head coach in FBS is Dave Doeren at NC State.
Can't argue with you there. I could probably start a thread. I dont' like...

-> Kirby Smart because you have a personal handler hold onto his belt buckle to keep him off the field. You have NO MORE CONTROL OVER YOURSELF THAN THAT? Plus your fans are adult-barking insufferable dongs
-> Eli Drinkowitz because you cowared up to Heupel after the last game and said "we stand on business, Josh". Really? You're such a dork-a-witz
-> Brian Kelly because you act like a man child, insult the communities you are a part of and are a northerner in a southerner's world. Go back to where you came from.
-> Shane Beamer because you are a cartoon of a head coach and, like Georgia, your fan base is insufferable
-> Curt Cignietti because you ruined what could have been a great story when you opened your mouth. You have to back it up or you just look like sad little man.
-> Mark Stoops because anyone who is like a loaded keg about to explode at any moment makes me nervous when the camera is on you

Are there any coaches I like? There are lots that I tolerate and am indifferent to. Some I like...

I can get behind Marcus Freeman.
Steve Sarkisian.
I liked Nick Saban.
I like what Bret Bielema is trying to do along with Bill O'Brien. Maybe I don't care so much for the coaches but rooting for the hard work they are trying to turn programs around.
I'm iffy on Kiffen. He's a changed man. Don't like what he did to UT but I kinda like where the guy is at these days.

I think a lot of people have a favorable opinion of Marcus Freeman after seeing his interviews during the playoffs. I liked him better than Brian Kelly as a coach from the start, that really isn't saying anything. but hearing his interviews made me like/respect him as a person.

Dabo making an effort to improve by changing coaches. Maybe the Vols should try that. Off. Cord., wide receiver, off. line coach. At least try to improve known weakness.
We’ll see what happens. I think it might not be a terrible thing to make some changes, but Dabo is trying to catch up to us, not the other way around .

I gave this a like, as I really liked almost all of ya post, then I got to the Saban part and was like, wtf? 🤷

In his career at Penn State he has played sixteen top five teams. Has lost fifteen of them. 15 out of 16!!
He mopped up at Vandy beating some of the worst Tennessee, Florida & Ga teams in the last 30-50 years. No one noticed cause it was Vandy but he was getting anyone in school he wanted ( evidenced by the rape case & other problems) & he beat bad teams.

I know, I know.

I didn’t say I liked Alabama, but it’s hard for me to not respect the heck out of Saban. When I look at all of the coaches I dislike, it’s almost always because they are classless dorks. Saban always seemed like the quintessential coach…HARD on his players and demanding their best, but loved them and always wanted the best for them.

Even now, I like watching him as a commentator. During each of the CFP games he covered, he would get worked up when talking about whichever team was behind like he was their coach.

I get why people don’t like him, and I can’t argue with that. But he is one of the best ever, I just wish it wasn’t at Alabama.

Vandy doesn't really have any business beating bad Tennessee, UF, or UGA teams. Say what you want about Franklin, but having back-to-back 8-win regular seasons and winning both bowl games for 9 wins was really impressive.

He just went a round futher then we did. Lost in a close game. Dumb.

97/100 teams would take his success, but I like our chances to do better than them if we have their draw and they gotta go to tOSU. tOSU kicked their ass at Happy Valley long before the Buckeyes got rolling on O.

Better weather in SC, ACC schedule, they actually win titles there, and it's not pedo state university.

I think I did hear that Allen’s family never moved up to Pennsylvania. Hard to argue w/ those points, but isn’t anyone and everyone ever associated w/ the Sandusky stuff either dead or in jail?

Work with Franklin. Work with Dabo. No brainer to me. Dabo is a stand up guy. And runs a successful program that has been a little off kilter last couple years.

I agree they shouldn’t but all 3 happened to have their worst teams in decades during those years. Those teams also lost to the likes of Ga Southern, Ga State, etc.
