Didn't see it posted yet: Byron Young to enter the draft, but will not quit on the team before the Orange Bowl

He's 24.. better to cash in now. I'm not sure how much his stock would improve by returning.

Refreshing to see this. Good for him and wish him luck.
Age takes a quick toll on the gridiron. I was listening to Bobby Carpenter on Sirius XM 84 the other day discussing how different his body felt when he was 18 vs 25. It was interesting to hear him acknowledge his physical decline at such a young age from when he was playing.

Quitting on the team? As a Vol fan you should be happy with whatever the decisions the guys decide to make....smh!

These guys gave their all for Tennessee and now are looking to their future!!!

Some guys gave their all for Tennessee, like Byron. Others gave their "whole lot for Tennessee" until Tennessee didnt benefit them anymore.

Considering he isn’t a definite early round draft pick it makes all the sense in the world that he is playing. Lotta judgmental people around here that can’t wait to gamble with other peoples futures. Ball out BY.

Yeah sure. A standard in college football that had been under no question for decades and decades suddenly now is completely disregarded by certain players for selfish, cowardace reasons. Yet WE are the ones who are demonized for criticizing it.

No. No he should not. Especially when we see players who are not hurt opting out. Now don't take that for any ill will towards those who quit playing for the team before the season is done.
