Except for opting out of the last game of the season

Like Tillman ?
Geez what do they have in common???
Both NFL ready WRs that don't have a chance to perform and ultimately risk injury.
You blind sheep can keep denying that all you want that WHO are current QB is as much to do with that than anything else.

Wright and Young
.. oh it makes perfect since for them to comeback to that game. Wright gets to block against one of the best DLines in college football.

Young gets to go after a green QB that QBs his homestate school.

You all can never see $#'...

You know what Tillman and Hyatt don't have in common? One is injured and needs to get healthy for the draft.

The other one is just fine.

Tillman had surgery this year. Try again fan boy. Young and Anderson are playing with insane amount more money on the line regarding rookie NFL deals perhaps 3-4 times as much in terms of dollars. Hyatt is not hurt. So he's quit on the team. That is facts. Not speculation but fact. I hope the very best for him but it is what it is when you "opt-out.

Gave it a "like" because of what BY actually said in his statement.

Not because your trash statement made in the thread title.

None of these boys are quitters.
ESPECIALLY JALIN HYATT!
If a 3rd string long snapper said "screw this" and decided not to suit up for the orange bowl, what would you say about him?
You may not agree that "quitter" is the correct definition for Hyatt but either way his choice is effectively the same: he left the team and did not finish the season when he could have and may cost them the chance to actual win something meaningful for once in any of their careers.
You can argue all you want that he may get hurt. Ok, then why did he play for a few series against Vandy? Is there a more meaningless game he could have played in than that? This is the freaking orange bowl that he won that award to help get his team to.
I just don't understand not wanting to play in this big reward and important game. I'd also think (this is just if it were me) that even after a massive performance against Bama, there would be some more to prove after being mostly shut down vs Georgia and blowing a chance at a playoffs. I'd want one more shot at a big win against a big program.

At his age I don’t blame him for moving on but glad to see him finish it out his career doing what he does! GBO!

Still not quitters. They don't want to risk injury for some meaningless bowl game that could cost them literally millions of dollars. C'mon man. They aren't quitting on anything.

Yes, they 100% are.

Now you can certainly make the argument they are making a smart financial decision, and you're right. But they're doing that by quitting, that's not disputable.

Yeah, I am "opting out" of thinking as much of him as I did before.

That's not true because Young and Anderson are not "opting out" I know it sounds harsh but the fact is Hyatt has quit on this season. Whatever his reason may be, when you decide to skip a game you have by definition quit.

Just so we are clear… not playing in the bowl game to go prep to make millions is not QUITTING.. fix your narrative

Considering he isn’t a definite early round draft pick it makes all the sense in the world that he is playing. Lotta judgmental people around here that can’t wait to gamble with other peoples futures. Ball out BY.

Is it OK to judge others who judge others?

I'm glad that BY and Darnell are playing, they can absolutely help their draft stock by having a good showing. Tillman and Hyatt however really have nothing to gain and stand to benefit by getting ready for the draft. I guess by definition you can call that quitting but I'll choose to respect their decisions and be grateful for what they've done for the university. Its Bru, Keton, and Squirrel time now. GBO!
