Die on the Chick-Fil-A Hill?

It's almost unbelievable to me that anyone would have a problem with CFA. I've literally NEVER had a negative experience at one and am often amazed at their efficiency and attitude.

Honestly, it might be a good idea for Congress to just farm Healthcare out to the CFA execs. We'd probably have a sustainable plan in place after about 6 days.

Any particular reason why you chose to say 6 days?

What do you guys order there that you find so tasty? I've been there a couple of times and had their chicken sandwich and found it to be fair at best. I've also had their food several times at work when they've brought it in for a lunch meeting and same thing. Finally one of my nieces even interned with them while going to UT and brought platters of their stuff to a couple of family gatherings and once again, mediocre.
Maybe its just you? Or, in several of your experiences, you did NOT get fresh product (catered meals at work or party platters).

To call it mediocre isn't really fair.

Chick Fil-A is fast food. It's not supposed to be compared to good restaurants. In the great scale of food overall it's somewhere in the middle.
In the land of fast food Chick Fil-A is great.

The food is pretty good but they also have quick service, friendly people, are clean, and they don't have a reputation of messing up orders. And it's not something that will usually give you bowel distress. All that combined is why people talk about them so much.

So the opposite of Krystal?

Tennessee Chick-fil-A staff replaces flat tire and cold food

Brian Hall got a flat tire while he was in the drive-thru at a Chick-fil-A in East Ridge, Tennessee.

He said employees rushed to replace it with their hydraulic jack. Then they went to extra mile and replaced the food he ordered with new fresh food so it wouldn't be cold and also added two cookies for free!

Haven't been to a Krystal since... probably 1976 when I got out of school in Knoxville.

But I remember those little square buns and the square beef patties. We used to call them sliders...

I also remember a local chain called the Blue Circle... which we called the Blue Hole... it was pretty greasy too.

Not sure how far Whataburger has spread, it's a Texas-based fast food franchise , and for fast food it's not too bad.

But CFA is my son's favorite meal, and there's a new one opening only 10 minutes away. Their sausage/egg/cheese biscuit is one I like for breakfast.

I got food poisoned at a Whataburger in Mobile, AL.

Did they ask about his sexual orientation before helping him?

Pure evil.
I took the wife for hate chicken today for lunch. It was wonderful. It was also very much their pleasure to serve it to us as well, as I have a habit of thanking them profusely for their wonderful service.

I throw them for a loop. I always tell them "you guys are awesome."

I've only had one "my pleasure."

It's because the left is full of lunatics. They dont openly support gay stuff and thus arent "allies" and to the left loons that means they are evil hate monger nazis who need to be stamped out and erased from society and history.

Well, everything.

I think you might be suffering from expectations that are too high, or trying to compare things that aren't in the same category, or ate chicken nuggets off a platter that had been sitting there for an hour. What are you comparing CFA to that makes it "fair" in your opinion...a high-end restaurant? You cannot compare CFA to that, or even to your favorite sit-down place that has really good fried chicken. They are different experiences. You wouldn't judge a sports car on its towing capacity, would you?

CFA is a fast food restaurant, and as others have said the quality of their food and the service is in a totally different universe compared to other fast food chains. They basically never mess up your order (biggest error they've ever made to me was putting pickles on a chicken sandwich where I said no pickles, and that's happened maybe twice in my life). If I go to a place like Wendy's or McDonald's, there's probably a 1/3rd chance they screw something up. It doesn't matter how crowded it is, you'll get in and out quickly. The employees are friendly, service-minded, and act like they actually want you in their restaurant. It's always clean. And to say the food is better than any other fast food joint is a massive understatement.

Also, does anybody else think that Whataburger = Sonic? The burgers and fries look and taste exactly the same to me.

I lived off Cumberland ave for about 3.5 years. I don’t drink anymore , but Looking back, I don’t think I ever ate Krystal’s before 1am and remotely sober. Wait in line with about 200 people and kill about 50 sliders between 3 people . It Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. Uhhggh

My daughter has started working at Hate Chicken and we are loving it. Great environment. Great people and service.

On the other hand, I watched a worker argue with a customer about why they didn’t get any salad dressing at a Subway yesterday. “You didn’t ask for it.” The customer was like, “I ordered a salad?!?”

Been there, done that about 50 years ago. The Krystal was there on The Strip at that time.
