You CAN'T be serious. Kid is 6'3 damn near 240 and camping with other D1 prospects.. and he's trucking LBs like it's his business. Why would you worry about him "being hit?" I mean, call me crazy, but football is a full-contact sport and no one else out there seems to be worried about him. And by "no one" I mean not one person in this galaxy except maybe his mother, who snickers when he trucks other players. So.. lay off the paint chips.

agree with this. but it wont be long until bates is 230 as well. cant wait to see what they do. Weatherd and Bates on the outside is some very good speed at LB that we havent had in a long time.

It is actually not inflated. It is right off the scale he stepped on recently. He has put on a lot of bulk in the last 6 months.
