Well, maybe you're right. Perhaps I have been blinded by my hatred for Saban and didn't see this for what it was.

Still don't see how you don't get the irony of saying to not believe someone on a message board.

If you answered "no" without interviewing several Bama's and Vol's alike to determine its validity then you in-fact used keen insight not required in the judicial process.

I made no claims for anyone either to believe or disbelieve. I simply pointed out the unlikelihood of the Bammer homer having anything more than an opinion on Bammer commits looking around. Thus there is no irony.

Agreed on the homers...every fanbase has them.

But to put it in layman's terms...the OP on the Bammer board saying this would be the equivalent of us posting that Lane Kiffin told Oku to visit Auburn and Syracuse...

It didn't happen, and never would happen.

Nick Saban may be a royal pri**...but he's an intelligent royal pri**. Even I will give him that much credit...

He's smart, but the Bammers think he's some kind of calculating genius recruiter. Like every single thing he does has some sinister purpose designed to ruin everyone else's program while elevating Bama's. I assure you this is not the case. Heck he may be coaching one of those other teams in a few years.

Exactly. They make it sound like he planned all this out that way.

I just acknowledged that Nick Saban is smart enough to not EVER tell an 18 year old kid to go visit a school to make them waste time. Especially to a school with an accomplished recruiting staff.

This was all over a Bammer who had access to a computer and wanted to justify his "reasoning" to why anyone would be 50/50 with Bear U.

If Les Miles continues to underachieve, you may even see him back at LSU. I bet if that job opened up, he would take it in a heartbeat. Those Bama fans are a different breed.

Good point. That wouldn't be too smart IMO. Especially if that recruit were entertaining any thoughts of going elsewhere. That would come off as dirty and could turn a recruit against him.

Saban is a lying, cheating, dictator that apparently pays for his recruits anyway. Probably paid a few to come up here and waste CLK's time.

Saban is just a fad, when he stops getting more money, and contract extentions he will dump AL, and all the fans down their will all look stupid. Just ask LSU fans and Miami fans. Nick had a good year last year not because of his recruits, but because he had a Senior QB. Lets see what they do. They might win it all, but still Bama fans need to take a chill pill on this guy if he was so great he would have not been beaten on the national stage by Utah, and telling his own recruits this year not to vist X and Y schools. If the Ncaa really wanted to they could shut this guy down at Alabama if he is trying this hard to cut corners in recruiting. Smart if story is true, but sorry I just don't give him that much credit.
