The ACC is not equivalent to Conference USA. But, in any event, it's true that you play in the SEC. However, it's also true that you made an agreement to keep Clemson out of the SEC with Florida, Kentucky and Georgia.

I'll give you a simple analogy because I'm sure your level of intellect isn't too great. You're sitting at the cool lunch table, not the coolest kid but not the lamest either. Clemson is sitting at a less cool table, but already manages to be cooler than you are. Threatened, you taunt them by saying how cool your friends are and how cool the kids who look up to you are and how Clemson should sit at a cooler table or else... but then you won't let them sit at a cooler table.

Scared? I would be. You're already the #2 football school in the state... and you're in the vaunted SEC. If Clemson were in the SEC, can you honestly say that there'd be no recruiting differences? We're already ahead of you, and you'd fall behind even more if you lacked that trump card.

They aren't behind u currently. It's a three game winning streak.

To use an analogy since you like them so much, it would be like the former prom queen who is now over weight and married to an alcoholic coming back to her high school reunion and bumping into a girl who she used to pick on. Turns out that girl is now a pretty succesful lawyer who married a guy who treats her well. The former prom queen who has now embarrassed herself at the reunion by trying to brag about all the dick she used to get in high school is forced to leave when her alcoholic husband is caught pissing on the dance floor.

The ACC is pretty damn bad. There's a reason you all haven't received an invite. You bring absolutely nothing to the table. You're competitive in the ACC, but that's not saying much. You're playing inferior competition week in and week out. I'm not so sure why you're having trouble wrapping your head around this.

Again, to the recruiting, those great recruiting classes haven't helped you beat us, nor have they kept you from bringing unimaginable shame to your conference in the Orange Bowl.

I think you guys are getting Clemson and Tennessee confused. Giving up 70 points in the Orange Bowl is unfortunate, but not nearly as "you're a has been" as not making a bowl.

We haven't received an invite because Clemson doesn't add a new market and, unfortunately, South Carolina won't put up with the competition.

If u took a poll of non biased fans and asked what school is a better football school tenn or Clemson it wouldn't even be close.

Tenn is awful right now, but it goes in cycles. Fortunately for tennesse when we have a good run we are actually a top tier team.
Clemsons great runs end with an ass raping.

It's because you bring nothing. You are barely competitive in your shatty conference. It makes no sense to promote you to the SEC. When you are getting slaughtered by teams like NCSU and GT, it might be time to STHU.

You guys gave up 70 points in that loss. Yes I would rather my Vols sit at home than go to the Orange Bowl and have them put on a display like that. The whole "at least we went to the Orange Bowl" attitude is comical.

It's really simple just to laugh at the fact that he's making the Orange Bowl out to be a legitimate big game. Let's not forget that this year's game had the lowest ratings of any BCS bowl ever, because really, it's a game that nobody cares about. When you've got the winner of the ACC, a conference that has losing records in bowls year in and year out, playing a school from another of the worst conferences in major college football, you don't get much. It's a hilarious cripple fight of teams that got "championship" (read: participation) titles.

As per his arguments about Clemson not getting into the SEC because people are afraid of "competition", we can look at their recent record in the series with USC.

Clemson (and its fans) are pseudo-SEC posers backing a school that is, perennially, average in its terrible conference. I don't know why anyone would think they're worth anything.

If Tennessee is just a has-been then Clemson is a never-was. And I expect to see that trend continue. It's another one of those guaranteed things in life - death, taxes and Clemson being overrated.

Thanks for the basketball recruit CT. Kid hated Clemson so much he is paying his way at UT. By the way, Clemson will never join the SEC because the town doesnt have 1 stoplight

I think RT made an excellent point earlier. Clemson's fanbase is made up of SEC wannabe's. They have just won their first ACC title in well over a decade, and all of a sudden they think they can play with the big boys.

CT typifies what you can expect from a typical Clemson fan.

Very typical. I was at the first VT-Clemson debacle and their fans were very cocky for having never won anything meaningful.
