You should cut back on the poison you introduce to your body. Here's a question to consider. I recently took a vacation.
I had a can of soda from my home before i left. It cost me .42 cents
I had a soda at the airport. It cost me 2.50
I had a soda from a gas station at the destination. It cost 2.99
I had a soda from the resort. It was 3.50
Were any of those prices gouging (or gauging as Kamala pronounced it) me?
gas at a gas station is probably the worst indicator of price gouging you could use.Price gouging is being practiced daily here in knoxville, that's the real culprit behind inflation.
Weigles on pleasant ridge sells regular gas 42 cents higher than Weigles on Western Ave, about a block apart.
A symptom of a broken congress, not that we've had particularly qualified presidents in office.Over the years my thinking on the improtance of CiC has evolved. I used the think the role was critical. Now, I believe the position is really inconsequential until something critical shows up. The challenge with that is that critical moments are never planned so it is risky to put unqualified people in qualified positions.
They CiC's have just been pi$sing on each others legs and undoing each others EO's for the most part. And I would argue unqualified people create more critical, consequential situations due to their ineptness… that they then cannot handle. Downward cycle…
Exactly. But the presidency should be relegated to a minimum amount of opportunity for unqualified people to create more critical consequential situations. The majority of the USA's business should be handled by the House

a gas station that is marking up their gas to make a better margin is going to hurt their sales of goods in the store. for reference gas stations typically only have a 2% margin on gas, which is usually about a nickel per gallon.
meanwhile the margins on in store goods can be as high as 40%, which is typically going to be at least a dollar on most drinks. as Mcdad pointed out a can of soda costs nowhere close to how much they are sold for. food isn't far behind, and any of the other goods are going to be more than drinks. any store branded or provided food, hot dogs, pizza, breakfast burritos are going to have the highest margins.
if that Weigels is price gouging on gas they are hoping that their margin on gas increases enough to offset any loss in sales on in store goods. basically, even if that 42 cents was straight increase in profit, it wouldn't offset the loss on about 10 bucks of in store purchases.
the gas and bathrooms at gas stations are there to get you to buy in store goods.
I would say “no” for all of the examples except the second one as the vendors there are an absolute monopoly provider and you are prohibited from bringing in your own beverages. Here's a question to consider. I recently took a vacation.

Not sure of the exact definition. I would say you were “hosed” using my personal regulatory lexicon . There is one other term I would apply if this were not a family websiteI was "guaged" at the airport?
But that wasn't even my most expensive poison on my whole trip. Not sure of the exact definition. I would say you were “hosed” using my personal regulatory lexicon . There is one other term inwould apply if this were not a family website
I get it . The two differences are 1) alcohol (although it may SEEM critical) remains optional. If you spend hour after hour without hydration, you endanger your health. And 2) unless you are on an island with only the resort, you can always go elsewhere to purchase a beverage (granted it may cost you even more). But that wasn't even my most expensive poison on my whole trip.
Went halfers on a bottle of wine that was the most expensive drink of the week.
How can I be hosed with my second cheapest drink?
I don't care if you are pro life or pro choice. This is strange and gross. Pro choice doesn't mean you need to publicly brag about having an abortion. It's not something to celebrate.
