Terrible Ted could bring it. My dad was an engineer with CBS/Epic and I got to sit in on some sessions. Dude was gonzo but only drank, never anything "stronger".

Know your history, man. I don't know how you'd expect us to cite that a folk/rock star in the 60's and 70's did drugs.

He was big into heroin, amphs, and coke. Given the time period and his social circle (Warhol, just to mention), it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he tripped acid or mushrooms at any point.
