20-8. 4.5 game lead in the AL Central through one month.

I thought that this was going to be a crappy team before the year started. Hell, everyone did.

With that being said, do you think they have any staying power? At this point, I'm saying no. Although they do have some good bats (Choo, Santana, etc.), I think they're playing over their heads. I mean, is Josh Tomlin really a guy that can sustain his current success? I doubt it.

I'd love for this team to make a serious run. They're my favorite AL team, as I have family from the area. Clevelanders sure deserve to see a good team in their city. Unfortunately, I just don't see it.

Discuss.

Thought this was a politics thread when I first read the title.
To answer the question, doubtful. Then again, that whole division looks horrid so far.

You'd think Minnesota and Detroit will come around, but who's to say. I'll give those 2 and Cleveland equal chances at this point.

I actually don't mind the Browns. Watch(or read) The Express.

It all depends on the pitching. If they can keep that up, then yes. I can't believe their starting pitchers have done so well to this point

For the sake of baseball let's hope they start playing like a Cleveland team. I can't stand Cleveland sports fans, they are an arrogant bunch without a reason to be. At least boston and ny fans have a reason to gloat. Cleveland is full of crappy teams, but its what they deserve.

Arrogant?! No. Cynical? Rough around the edges? Yes.

The arrogance surrounding the Cavs when lebron was there was ridiculous. That's just my conclusion to the ones I've met and spoken with.

Well, it's probably because you were speaking with the bandwagon jerkoffs. The crowds that the Cavs drew during the season they just had is a pretty good testament to their fans. Just saying.

Well the difference is huge in the cavs and preds. The preds have a lot of nashvillians now following them, and as hometown fans they should be able to hop on the wagon. But printing shirts with Witness on them is crazy. Witness what, bron choking in the post season?
