Do UT fans play basketball?

Agreed. Even only playing 1 year competitively, it was fun as hell. Are the intramurals at Knoxville even worth playing?

They're certainly worth playing- even the teams in the rec division have a lot of guys that played high school ball. The competitive league is pretty much guys who played with each other in high school. Heck my team even had several guys who played in H.S. and we were awful- won one game out of 5 i think lol.

I've followed UT basketball for as many years as football.

I remember back in the day (yea, 'bout to show my age) when some of the players would be over at Dr Overholt's house playin' around on his basketball/tennis courts during the off-season.

I didn't play but was always there watching them.

That court is grown over now with weeds/trees and whatnot... what a shame!!!!

I am a UT fan that plays a lot. I probably play a little more football than basketball, but I enjoy playing both sincerely. Are there any other UT fans here who love the game of basketball as much as football?

I played basketball in high school was a second team all state point guard and raised at the football field. I love all sports football and basketball tied for 1 and baseball a close 2nd.

I play basketball for at least two hours a day. Even when I don't have practice I go to the gym late at night and get some shots up and work on free throws.

I grew up a basketball player and continued to play until I graduated in 2007 when I got my first coaching job. I grew up a fan of football not a player and always will be.
