I don't think it would give us an advantage you could know exactly what there going to run but it want do you a bit of good if you don't have the athletes to stop it. We are far out manned as far as talent this yr and we probably will be in the rest of our games expect a few

....aaaaand how many national championships?

I dont think Richt sucks. Hes a good coach. Just has a tendency to choke or coach not to lose in big games. I think the LSU game may have bought him a couple more years but they only lost because of 3rd and Chavis.
Larry Coker, Gene Chizik and Mack Brown have national titles. It's an awful way to evaluate a coach.

Seriously this is even a question. Did the poster even watch last weeks GA/LSU game. Lets pretend that the reason LSU score 41 or so points was UGA's defense is week. Here is the problem. Our O could not score 40+ points against air and especially not against even a mid level SEC defense. Other problem is they have a real QB with playmakers around him. We are in for some deep doo doo on Saturday and hope we can keep it respectable. This is not a game I would think we have any chance of winning.

Maybe USCjr since UCF gave them fits.

I say maybe. A very BIG maybe. Since Georgia is coming off a very tough game against LSU, and Gurley is questionable, it weakens a tough opponent slightly.

That is not the big maybe, though. If the line suddenly start playing up to their potential, the receivers run routes well, the back run the plays the way they are designed, and the QB corrects a boatload of issues, the defensive line becomes disruptive, the line backers and secondary cover and cause turnovers, and special teams don't make fatal mistakes, the Vols have a slim chance of beating Georgia. Like I said, a lot of BIG maybe.

Of course. it would help if Georgia comes into Knoxville the way they came into Clemson. I feel they lost that game for 2 reasons: first of all, they underestimated Clemson. They were so bought into their own hype that they missed several opportunities to control the game, and Clemson was more motivated. Second point is the home field advantage Clemson had. Those fans had Murray rattled on several plays in all 4 quarters. If Tennessee fans show up, and decide they are going to intimidate Georgia by being loud rather than playing like they are at a social event, there is a chance the Vols can bring in the upset of the week. I see that as the biggest maybe of them all; I have all the confidence in the world that the team can do everything I listed above, but I have little to no faith in the fans to give the team the support they need to win.

So seeing as our Defensive Coordinator used to coach at UGA does that give us an advantage this weekend?

Also NB4 Thread is stupid, OP is a retard, don't start another thread, post count to start a thread should be 1000. I'm just bored and it just seems to be a cool topic to start a thread instead of the usual "Worley Sucks" or "Dobbs or Fergie".

The answer is clear and simple. NO. We have no advantage. Just watch the rebuilding process.

If the team gives them something to celebrate, the fans will be in it. Otherwise it's just another top 25 team blowing out the Vols at Neyland.

Mark is a great coach and a great person. Any school would be proud to have him. I don't care what anyone says

I am working Saturday and unsure how much of the game I will get to see. I had a dream about missing the game and walking in the office just as the final score was on. We won 9-6 and shocked the world. I never ever dream about football.

Having said that we probably play tough until lack if depth rears its ugly head.

If I know that a meteor is going to hit Earth at an exact spot at an exact time does that give me any advantage in stopping it?

(*times like this, I REALLY wish profanity was allowed, just so I could make my [redacted: profanity] point*)

Some of y'all make me sick. Seriously. Let's just not even [redacted: profanity]show the [redacted: profanity] up to Neyland and just forfeit the [redacted: profanity]game already. They're human beings, just like our team. Human beings are inherently beatable. Georgia CAN be beaten. Alabama CAN be beaten. South Carolina CAN be beaten. All it takes is enough willpower, all it takes is a mistake, all it takes is inspiration.....and this ballgame is won. We weren't supposed to beat South Carolina in the black jerseys, were we?? Appy State wasn't supposed to beat Michigan, were they?? North Dakota State wasn't supposed to beat Kansas State, were they??

Last I checked, until that scoreboard says 00:00 in the 4th quarter, this game's not [redacted: profanity] over yet. Until they have more points than we do in that instance, we haven't lost yet. So, why are y'all acting like we need to make sacrifices to Saint Richt to keep him from unleashing his wrath upon our poor football team??

[redacted: profanity] Mark Richt, [redacted: profanity] the University of Georgia, [redacted: profanity] English bulldogs, [redacted: profanity] the colors red and black, [redacted: profanity] Aaron Murray, [redacted: profanity] Keith Marshall, [redacted: profanity] Larry Munson, [redacted: profanity] Herschel Walker, and a big DOUBLE [redacted: profanity] you to Vince Dooley. We're the University of Tennessee, [redacted: profanity] it, and we don't lay down for NOBODY.

There, I was even nice about it. Even though I'm not a nice person.

I'm not saying Richt is the greatest coach of all time. I just find it laughable people think he's a bad coach.

So bad, that people are encouraged because he is on the other team's sideline.

It's absurd.

The "we have a coaching advantage because Richt is their coach" argument is nonsense.

He has a habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
