What's the latest on Jackson? He's be a real get if we can land him. The kid is a freak! Come on Adoree! You'd be a Vol legend!

So the OP is the guy who started the historically infamous QTB thread and then disappeared. Please tell us what QTB means, OP?

For real though, who would actually want to go to college in Columbia, MO?

I have lived within 2 hours of Columbia for the last 12 years or so. My older son goes there. I have visited several times. In short... you don't know what you are talking about. It is a very, very good school with more "schools" than any other US university. It is a very nice college town with great campus life. I believe enrollment will increase to about 34K next year.

Mizzou has a TON to offer. Oh yeah... they also have a coaching staff that just took a bunch of 2* and 3* players and won the East. They have PROVEN that they can get it done developing and coaching players. They don't have to depend on promises of better times to come or promises that coaches can really coach in spite of recent poor results.

BTW, of the current SEC schools, Mizzou would be the LEAST likely to offer a recruit money or benefits outside of NCAA guidelines. There is a different attitude here about sports generally and "fair play" specifically. There ARE people who would do it... just disproportionately more people who would report it if they knew about it.

I went to grad school there after finishing at TN. Columbia is a nice college town, decent music scene, good food, a couple good microbreweries, and fairly cheap. It's not Knoxville, but it's a pretty happening little town that's 1.5 hours from KC or STL.

The school is pretty decent too.

No mountains but it's definitely very livable.

What about the chicks because u know that's the only reason they pick a school..

I really hope we can hang on to Thomas. Great frame and a nasty disposition. He has a lot of upside, and I think he would turn out to be the DL's biggest surprise if we could hold on to him.

Lost Evans now, he is not coming on official visit this weekend. According to Ryan Callahan on GVX247. He met with Janeck and isn't coming this weekend as scheduled.

Sucks!! was really hoping to get that kid.

of course we will lose some commits on signing day, it happens like clockwork every time national signing day comes around. hopefully we can have better luck this year. I feel like we got to keep mouhon at all costs.

your either for us or against us. Thomas and Mouhan can go somewhere else and make room for true Vols. We will upgrade when they leave. Mouhan would not have beat out Bryant. Consider them both gone (and yellow)

I don't want to lose any but I'm sure we will. There is a reason why butch has over recruited. I'm just nervous about who it is. I hope it's not Barnett and Hendrix but it may explain why butch is going after other DT's
