During Wooden's run of 88 straight games it was a Notre Dame team with NO star players who stopped the magical run: Center John Shumate (24 points), guard Gary Brokaw (25 points) and Dwight Clay, who scored the winning two points on a jump shot from the right corner, led the way for the Fighting Irish.,......Who???

That bandwagon crap is so overused, I have been very critical of this team, but I never stopped hoping things would turnaround. Up until now this team was painful to watch and the coaching was bad. I attended several games though I live in St. Louis. The coaching and playing is 100% better than it was at the start of the season. Just because you are critical does not mean you are not a fan.

Kind of hard to "jump" on the bandwagon of a team that you post on a message board about...for years. JMO.

Yes, I believe in miracles, Russell deserves an attaboy along with the rest of the team. The ladies were AWESOME.
