FWIW, I’ve definitely seen Telander directing traffic pre-snap and barking orders with what seemed like reasonable confidence. Hard to say without specific analysis though.

Yeah impossible to know if it was the right call either way. I def remember Herring being confused, especially earlier in the season.

After thinking more about it, I think he could be good enough to go to the NFL before he run out of eligibility.
