My In-laws are big UK supporters.

They know that there will be serious repercussions if they attempt to put my daughter in anything blue.

No way
There are more UT fans than FL and AL fans combined.

Until about 2 years ago, I hadn't seen a bama flag since the 90's.

My dad lives in Hixson and I don't notice a lot of Bama and Florida fans there.

We have lived outside Lexington, KY and Columbia, SC yet both my kids are die hard Vol fans. Taking them to games helped especially married to an Awbarn fan.

I have a step son who pulls for Al. Makes me want to puke. My wife wanted to get one of those house divided plates. I told her this house is not divided, until he makes a few mortgage payments this house is all Vol! My daughter on the other hand loves the Vols and wants to attend college there.

Damn straight! Seems like a widespread thing that you have to keep these women in check. My wife this with other sports, but she knows not to mess with the Vols.

To the OP you have to lead my example. There's too many losers around here that are fans of Gators, Bama, Dawgs and Tigers/War Eagles. You have to give them some guidance. I couldn't handle a son that turned out to be a Bama fan.

I have my 2 year old saying "Go Vols!" and yesterday my 6 year old was wearing an Orange shirt and some Vols shorts. I have no idea where he found them and asked him and he said "I found them in one of my drawers!" all excited.

I bet your kid knows some kids at school who are fans and it just going with the flow. Just be firm in your love of UT and he might come back around.

fiance is an USC fan as is all her family (most who are grads). We live in LA. It's going to take constant brainwashing for my kids to not be sc fans. i think i'm up to the challenge though.

Oh there are a lot here. The AL fans seem to be multiplying. It was that way with the Gators when they won their NC's. Probably a lot of bandwagon fans.

Oh yeah, they're out there, but not in numbers that come close to UT.

Lot of bama people the closer you get to SPit.

This is retarded.. No need for an explanation.

Look like a soccer player showed up. HAHA, i'm kidding. I was stating the he used the wrong sport for comparison. If I am going to call baseball boring,(which it can be at times) I am not going to use soccer to compare it with. It is likely the only sport that has less scoring than baseball. I was just joking around with soccer! Although AYSO produces some fantastic band members!

We live just outside of Lexington and my 4 year old I have managed to make Vol obsessed. She will walk around Lexington yelling Wildcats stinks to everyone in blue she passes. So far my 2 year old is walking the Vol line and I'm working on the baby already :) The only thing that worries me my wife grew up in Lexington and just to spite the arrogant basketball fans that she couldn't stand she started cheering for UT and UofL....My 4 year old likes to tweak me every once in a while by claiming she's a Wildcats fan but then she says she's just joking. I'll be watching closely to see if her preferences start to turn towards blue.
