Who cares...they both look good and they are both going to be at UT this year. Let them fight it out during fall practice and see which one comes out on top. Not a bad position for UT to be in over the next couple of years.

Personally I think the best thing for UT in the future would be for one (or both) of them to Red Shirt and one of them to be 3rd string this year and they both learn the system.

It's the bloody off season.. Let us argue about this please.

The next "Johnny Football" just may be wearing Orange. :crossfingers:
They may both be good, or they may be disappointments, but they aren't Johnny Football. Johnny Football runs a 4.53 40 yard time, Ferguson 4.80, and Dobbs 4.94. Our guys may buy some time in the pocket, but they won't average 7 yards a carry like Manziel. Manziel is a tremendous athlete who happens to play qb.

Surprised no one else has commented on the obvious difference of arm strength between the two...Ferguson's passes downfield seem like rainbow throws that take forever to get there...Dobbs passes are crisp bullets in comparison...

I hope not

They probably both already throw the ball better than Schafer did and they are both more mobile than Ainge. The reason rotating Ainge and Schafer worked they were 2 completely different style qbs the defenses had to prepare for. Dobbs and Ferguson are more similar to each other in their style of play.

Dobbs will be QB unless Peterman breaks out. Great arm, fast decisions, tactician, smart, comfortable and polished. He also knows when to run.

Ferguson looks fast and competent, but leaves balls hanging up there too long.

Look at Dobbs around the 2.18 min mark whn they play Alpharetta, #52 is Carl Lawson. He side steps him and makes him look silly haha.
