I think most would say the same thing. Im rooting for him. Was hoping he’d get on with a better team, or stay in San Fran. My guess is he knew wasn’t gonna get the backup job there. Solid shot to play in NE. May God protect him if he does, cause that offensive line surely won’t.

Terrible news. I had a hard enough time pulling for Milton while playing for that evil team, now with Dobbs it will be even worse coupled with Mayo getting fired. It feels very unnatural to want NE to have even a glimpse of success.

Shocked that Vrabel signed him. Not like he’s adding a lot of value with current QB room.

Maye is obviously the starter and future but Milton did not play bad in mop up

Mayo was in over his head and was never going to be a long term successful coach with a rebuilding roster.

You also don’t keep Mayo for year 2 if someone like Vrabel is making it known they want back into coaching.

Yep. Getting paid a lot of money, played enough to make some highlight plays but will walk out without the normal wear and tear (and head issues) of an NFL QB. And will be young enough to still go do the other things he wants to.
