Is this some virtual crew or something. LOL
We don't have a man rated vehicle that's capable of orbiting Mars and sure not going to have one ready by late 2024

That’s a great point. I wondered if this was real but didn’t consider that.

Especially with the current administration slow walking SpaceX Starship testing permits

I heard a rumor a test flight was coming soon.
Possible in one to two weeks. Waiting on Fish and Wildlife Service environmental review to complete.
The Chinese are laughing at us as we hold up a nationally vital project to make sure SEA turtles will not be harmed by a water deluge spray 🙄
I am seeing possible dates between the 13th and 18th if they can actually wrap up the review by then
The sad part is that SpaceX has been ready to go from a technical standpoint for over a month

Never know what you're going to get on VolNation.

Probably why I keep coming back.

We get history from the night before game threads, cultural enrichment from the fans of other teams who stumble over here, and general comedy from drunken posters.

What else could you ask for?

Always wondered why someone would strap a billion horsepower candle to your a$$ built by the lowest bidder?
Apparently the same kind of people who enjoy playing a game where you carry a pigskin and slam into 240 pound linebackers at a closing speed of 40 mph 😉

Lol. Guess if you had your way we’d let Elon and every other corporate egomaniac with enough money run rampant and pollute as much as they wanted. Environmental agencies are the reason we still have lakes with fish in them and the Cuyahoga river doesn’t catch fire anymore. Who gives a damn what the Chinese think?

“Pollution”? The environmental review is for a freshwater deluge spray. You know, the same stuff that comes out of your kitchen tap?
There is indeed a need for environmental reviews; but like everything else, once a bureaucracy comes into being, it eventually comes to exist only for its own power and starts taking things to absurd levels.
Just to be clear, FWS is holding up SpaceX simply for wanting to pour out simple water into sand. The EXACT SAME THING that happens every time a thundershower comes over.
