Does anybody know what kind of defense MSU will play against us?

They are deeper than OSU, but not terribly deep. If you look at stats, they are not terribly talented after their top 7.

6 players played at least 22 minutes against UNI but after that the next highest was 9 minutes.

Nix who started at Center was expected to play more. He played a couple of awful minutes and wasn't playing as well as normal. Then he sat. As long as he brings his normal game I expect he'll see more court time against UT. The UNI game is hard to judge things on too. Slow pace and the extra tournament TV time outs meant we didn't have to go as deep.

We can get more quality minutes out of the bench if we need them. We're not as deep as UT but but no means are we the Evan Turner and posse show part 2. We're deeper and more balanced.

Expect about 40 minutes of man to man. I don't recall seeing a zone all season. Izzo might have them man up on each other in the locker room during half time too. :)

You can expect to see some switching happening off screens. Other than that it's about effort, focus, help, and game planning to tire your bigs out. You'll get points in the paint early. The key will be how long your bigs can sustain the level of effort that will be demanded of them.

Ok so no one else found this gay?

I'd almost enjoy beating Michigan State as much as Ohio State in a bowl game if were gonna thump someone North but seeing Ohio State NEVER gets old!!

Just get back on track and starting beating Saban and Bama regularly. We can worry about the rest later.

Zone only because that is what we have seen all year and that is what troubles us more than anything. Ohio State's 1-3-1 really messed us up early and we were not expecting it at all IMO
