I'm not trying to start a Titans thread. I just want to know what the support is like elsewhere. Mainly what the support is like in East Tennessee.

Non here... It's about half Seahawks and half various NFL teams. Never seen much Titans support, at all really.

I'm a Titans fan can't speak for anyone else though, haven't lived in East TN for about four years. I'm not very fond of how they treated Mcnair though.

What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet.

Well, that which we call the Oilers, by any other name smells just as crappy.

I figure the Titans got some national bandwagon support when they first became the Titans and were a pretty strong team there for 4 or 5 years. Obviously it's not there now since it was bandwagonish, if that.

I live outside of Nashville and I am a true Titans fan.It didn't happen overnight though. In a like manner,as of now, I really don't follow the Memphis Grizzlies even though they are a Tennessee team. This may change one day.

I didn't really have a favorite NFL team when the Oilers first came to Tennessee, but I started to follow them since they were a Tennessee team, and really started to pull for them when they shed the Oilers name and moved to Nashville permanently. I live pretty much right between Nashville and Knoxville, so it works out pretty well.

I wouldn't root for a Nashville based team under any circumstance.

Enough said. In fact, if Milo flies into Nashville, I retract my offer.

what are your top 3 reasons?
1. Vanderbilt.
2. Big haired Tammy Wynette wannabes.
3. A completely unjustified collective sense of importance on the part of the city and its residents.

1. more UT fans than Vandy fans
2. generalization
3. generalization
If a person from Nashville thinks their hometown is anything more than Branson, MO on steroids, they overestimate the city where they live.
