Some are saying the Democrats blocked $1200 now I’m reading the Republicans will “only approve $600” but that doesn’t line up with what all the Republicans are saying.

What’s going on here?

Perhaps it’s best to save it for another date if needed. The economy is chomping at the bit to take off. Vaccines are just now being distributed. If the corresponding data is promising then maybe anybody wanting work will soon have that option.

What about the next four+ months?

Are you pro stimulus?
My mother in law is $2000 in the hole because the regulations are restricting her business and I’m quickly running out of money because my wife is a counselor and only so many people are willing to be counseled online. She can see ppl in person but the China virus has ppl scared out of even taking care of themselves. She’s gone from 12 clients to 1 or 2. Yes I’m pro stimulus but I’d rather the regulations and fear mongering go away.

Vaccines just started. There is no data.

I think that available jobs are most relevant. Unemployment might be skewed due to people not wanting to work rather than not being able to find work.
Everywhere here has now hiring signs, so you're on to something.

No doubt that’s going on. I don’t like people choosing to stay home and I’m usually against handouts but in this case, because of the regulations and fear mongering, I’m having to use personal funds to pay operation costs on my wife’s business. We can’t do it much longer. It’s not unrealistic that she files for unemployment soon. I’m not going to ask her to find a different job knowing how much she’s busted her tail all year trying to create a job for herself and others only to be suffocated by the gov’t.

No bailouts. The lockdowns have consequences, time to feel them. Stop giving your kids and grandkids IOUs. Government can't replace trade. Spend money if you have to on hospitals.
Ha. More like giving my wife’s mom an IOU because the government is killing her trade. Not everyone who’s struggling is struggling because they’re lazy. Gov’t needs to either pay up or get the hell out of the way.

That is an attitude that white privileged, white nationalists have. That's no good now. Ask python and the other village fools, i mean liberals. They'll set you straight

The fear mongering will not go away, the gov has successfully lied to the majority of Americans about the chinese virus. Once kamala gets in and ga steals the senate seats, she might as well work for the gubment.

It's going to be four months before the vaccines are out in the public enough to combat COVID.

Maybe I should get on Twitter and start screaming about how oppressed I am. That seems to work for most.

Me and her both! I’m out her bailing out businesses (on a very small scale, but still hard for me to do) that the government is choking out. It’s infuriating. Pretty soon we’ll all be broke and the Democratic senate will approve a stimulus from the Democratic house that the sheep will praise Kamala and AOC like a bunch of hobos receiving a loaf of bread from the millionaire down the street.

I don’t want that. I just want our businesses to survive and right now I could use a little help from Uncle Sam. Actually, I’d probably get more help from a go fund me. All I’d have to do is post a pic of my dog to make people feel sorry for me and be like “help feed Natchez :(“ boom, instant stimulus

I do feel bad for your situation and I am not trying to be a smartass as you all are likely hard workers and do what you are supposed to. But I would suggest she open up and tell the government to F off
