I am in the restaurant business in Georgia. One of the lowest wage rates in the company. We start dish washers out at $15 an hour. No experience required. The only job that pays close to minimum wage is host. That's around $10 and is usually filled by 16 year olds.

Of you allow competition without any forced gov mandates, businesses will raise the wages to get employees. Let the free market be free.
