my grandpa before he passed grew the best home grown tomatoes in east Arkansas. each summer I'd pick up a load. the reddest dayum maters i ever seen. put a little salt and pepper on them and just eat them plain with our summer meals

Been watchin stores for the Grainger toms....none yet....I'm in Tri-Cities....i have 5 plants on porch in large pots I put out early...had to cover quite a bit at night until past couple of days...put 8 in ground yesterday, 7 more in ground plus upside downs hung up today....mater sandwich with Duke's mayo is an important part of summer in this house. Ha
