I went out on a charter several years and caught a bunch of snapper. My pastor and his wife RIP were originally from Kentucky in the hills somewhere. She was always talking about how she loved fried fish so I invited them over and I fried it all several different ways.
Sorry, long story short, I made a tarter sauce from scratch. She put some on her plate and tasted it and made a face I can't explain, but will never forget. She said "what is this, I thought it was tarter sauce". I said it is what's wrong with it. She said I ain't never tasted no tarter sauce like this. Lol, by the middle of dinner she was eating it out of a spoon by itself.
