Janis Joplin was special. But I don’t know. John Prine had you hanging onto every word. Such a storyteller, you could laugh, think and cry during almost every song of his. I love to listen to both, but I’d take Prine every day over Janis.
Not when it comes to Mercedes mind you, just in general. I haven’t been able to go more than two days without listening to him since he passed.
