So would I, I love the Rutgers story. I like how they're turning it around after being the butt of college football jokes for so long.

But the thing is... ESPN needs to talk about good teams in the greater New York area. It's ESPN's biggest viewer base, by far. And when ESPN talks about a team a lot, that team's stock tends to go up. Last I checked, the Big East is still a BCS conference. This gives Rutgers a very good shot of making the national title game if they go undefeated.

I am going to lose all of my faith in mankind if Rutgers gets to play for the national title. If they deserve a shot, then Boise State ought to be in the conversation too.

Yeah.. Rutgers would beat two top ten teams along the way, who also have not beat anybody.

The Boise State comment was an exaggeration. Rutgers and Boise State are both undefeated on hollow schedules.

Yeah. Still, if Florida manages to escape that schedule with one loss, no matter how many miscues they have, they ought to be in the national title talk.
