God I hope not. I pull for two teams every Saturday: The Vols and whoever is playing LSU.

Exactly the way i see it, plus i want alabubba to lose, fl, aandm, aubie, vandy, and nd all to lose all the time, plus i want uga to have the big head coming into Knoxville. GBO!

UGA is a good team i just think LSU is probably the best team in the SEC right now. thats just me.Landry and Beckham are legit. Langley will get picked on again

call me crazy, but i think lsu is the best team in the sec i have seen this year.

They are certainly playing like it right now...I hope LSU pulverizes UGA--physically--to soften them up for their trip to Knoxville for us......

GO VOLS! :salute:

Exactly. I was under the impression Murray won the job and then Mett got in trouble, thus sparking his moving on..

Actually according to ESPN no one won the job. It was basically even and then Zach got in trouble and was dismissed.

Murray even inquired about transferring schools, I think that was what the radio station was saying he knew he had lost the battle at that point

"It was back and forth," Murray said. "It was tight. It probably would have gone through the summer and [preseason] camp, and who knows what would have happened?"

It was such a tight race that Murray even inquired about transferring to another school if he didn't win the job, according to Bulldogs tight end Arthur Lynch, a close friend of both quarterbacks.

"Aaron told me after that spring that he was calling a lot of other coaches because it was such a close competition," Lynch said. "He didn't know if he was going to win the job."

...so, after 2 losses to 2 good teams, UGA's fanbase will throw in the towel on the whole season and berate their players and coaches like this fanbase has done the past 2 weeks.

Then, next Sat., we might have a chance to kick a field goal or something (sarcasm), so the Negavols don't have to jump off a bridge or slit their wrists and such.

I think we are fully capable of kicking two fg's against UGA

I hope uga wins big then comes to Neyland next week with too much confidence and they get Butch slapped by the Vols in the Smokey grey uni's.

While I would love nothing more then for Ga to get pounded, I also feel we have a better shot at pulling one off if they are coming off a big win then if they loose today. That being said, I still hope LSU beats the snot out of them!!

If the Dogs lose today they will kick our azz next week.:bottom:

Mett would have given Murray all he could handle. It's obvious how much better Mett has gotten under their new OC. I'm sure Bobo and Richt would have done a good job with him. Nothing was official in the Spring but Murray was better prepared AT THAT TIME, of course a lot could have changed over time.

And I do agree that one guy would have left.

We need all teams in the east to lose (often). I don't think our boys are ready to lay down just yet and with only one conference loss, we are still alive for a chance to play for a championship. Go corn dogs!
