Does Mullen really suck at recruiting?

I'm just saying he's doing everything he can to keep State's program clean which included not giving the Newton's what they wanted so you know he has to be turning down other recruits who are wanting $180,000.

fyp. Not difficult to turn down a kid that wants a quarter of the coach's annual salary.

Mullen has a reputation for not being a "people person", but he's a good coach.

Success in Starkville will lead to success somewhere else.

Let's say Mullen goes 9-4 this year with MSU.

Georgia fires Richt.

They are going to have a real interesting problem. I think the fans would want Kirby Smart, the alum. But I think Mullen would be a better fit. I think Mullen would do great at Georgia.

I have been told he is one of the most arrogant pricks on the recruiting trail. He has burnt a lot of bridges in Mississippi, and Houston Nutt has owned him recruiting the state. Mullen better get out if he wins this year because the talent is about to have a serious drop off in the future years.

Mullen is about as arrogant as Billy Costigan is naive.

if the education system in mississippi wasn't so bad, I'm sure that they could get some amazing players
