Does signing two questionable posts mean no confidence in our post players?

No one is keeping him from doing his job, as far as I know. I see nothing wrong with discussing the possibilities of what he may or may not do and the success or lack thereof of next season.

Actually, Hall has shown very good post offensive ability. He needs to get stronger and stay out of foul trouble. Maymon, in very limited playing time, showed some post moves, but needs to work on free-throw shooting and finishing around the basket. He is strong enough to be a factor in the post.

He can turn to his rt shoulder and hit a little j with a tad of fade. He can follow up with a dunk or two. He seems to not have much feel for the game though, and has seemed to be a step behind. He also plays smaller than he is. Hopefully, somebody's in there with him working on a little rt and lft jump hook and top it with a pump for up and under. If not, he needs to do it himself.

Leave the management of the BB program to the coach. I am sure he has a plan and multiple contingency plans if things change between now, next year and the next. He is the one who is accountable, knows a lot more about things than us armchair couch potatoes and might have a longer or shorter perspective than us civilians. Let him do his job.

So we shouldn't expect any commentary or opinions from people on a forum? Look, coaches make mistakes. It really doesn't matter that they are in the position they are in, they are human, and they make errors.

I am not bashing anyone's opinion because at least they are topic related but it seems like trying to project how UT's current players will fit into a new system is impossible. I rarely saw what I would call a consistent offensive system/gameplan except for dribble for 30 seconds then fire up an errant three. Does Maymon clear the Lane for Hall, Woodridge or Tatum in this system? Do we actually see spot up jumpers from Golden or McRae? CCM is the only one who can answer that and I'm cautiously optimitistic that a more disciplined offensive attack might serve these guys well.

Of course you are correct, there is absolutely no reason to have any discussion about any particular player or the team as a whole since we won't know anything for sure until after next season. Makes perfect sense.

I wouldn't read too much into it if I was a Vol fan. You can't make a team work with two post players, and it's difficult with three. CCM got his four, which gives flexibility with fouls and injuries and whatnot. Even if you have the Morris twin at the 4/5 with no one to back them up, you're going to lose alot of games. They can't play 40 minutes AND stay out of foul trouble under the basket.
