Does this get anyone else fired up?

In theory that would work, but technically I would have no idea how to accomplish it. I think it would increase the file size x2.
Figured it would take that to do it. Cut some off and find a way to reverse video? Theres got to be something that would let you do it.

How are you making them in the first place? Any recommended guides?

Nice work Freak. Keep it up and you'll give LSUfreak a run for his money.

Not gonna diss Freak here, but LSUFreak is "The Man" when it comes to this kinda stuff.

Even still, I think it's nice work Freak. A lot better than I could do. :hi:

I would love to see one of these of Leapin' Josh Smith as he hurdles that Red Wolf.
That would be cool.

My wife's going to like your first one Freak, she's gotten fired up two weeks in a row over that.

This is my first attempt and doing animated gifs. Obviously, a smoother loop would be better. Any other tips from the pros?

Not bad, to get rid of the loop break use a longer source where u reverse the frames and zoom back out.. So if the original has 20 frames, u start and end on frame 1, 20 is mid point, clip is 40 frames total.

Thanks for the tip. Now, any idea how to accomplish this in PS CS6? :)

Played with it a second, here's an easy way :

open your gif up. select all layers, do Layers->arrange->reverse. Duplicate Layers, select original layers, do Layers->arrange->reverse again. Clear animation from timeline, create new animation frames from layers, set delay, save for web.. boom, pop, mustard.

here's one i did.. i took your gif, found the point where they were farthest to the left, then the frame where they came back to the farthest left point, kept all the frames in between (frame 16 to frame 60 iirc), and deleted everything else. Did the above mentioned reverse and duplicate trick, set a delay of 0.05 on each frame, and saved to web. cut the file size down quite a bit that way.
