V4L said it all. They are trying to create a new cash cow. Has anybody looked at the shirts that VolMall is selling? Those shirts look ridiculous. If I were on the panel on that ESPN show, I think it's Around the Horn, and I were asked if I am buying or selling the merchandise with the new logos, I'd say that I am selling.

I'll say something nice. I like the premise of putting Smokey with the T. UK has always had a nice logo with the wildcat and the UK. But, as I said before, the new UT logos are way too "artsy."

This crap looks like it should be in "Baby Gap." Give me a break.

And Kentucky's logo looks like a hockey team or NFL Europe. College logos, AND helmets, should remain simple, conservative, and true to the TRADITION that makes college football what it is, and why it stands apart from any other sport on the planet.

Well, if we're talking football, the "bark" (or in this case "meow") is CERTAINLY bigger than the bite.

Sorry, but IMO, that logo is for sucks.

Thanks, Milo. That is the UK logo I was referring to. I agree with the doctor that the meow is much bigger than the bite on the field. It has been basically since Bear Bryant was pushed out. But, Doc, a hockey team or NFL Europe? :huh:

I believe the Smokey beside the T is only going on the kids clothes.

I like the growling Smokey, but the one they call 'dignified' Smokey with the lettering is a little weak. The lettering, however, is pretty good by itself.

But I still cannot believe the star logo and Crockett are going to be gone.

Oh yeah, all this is for shirts only. Don't even think about adding this to any part of the football uniform.
