It took me a minute. But he means "people of color". It's just white people that can't have a dog apparently. This is very confusing. The author references POC as a pseudonym for Eurasian peoples. A quick google search showed that POC means Piece of Crap. I knew what POS means- Point of Sale- but POC? It seems that referencing any group of people as POCs is not very nice. Any thoughts?
Hey I think that dogs can see things that we can't, I have seen one of my dogs in the past just bark at a bare wall and a neighbor dog I saw looking straight up and dogs don't do that unless you are holding foodView attachment 308850
I was home alone one night, wife and kids were at a girl scout sleepover I think. I was watching the conjuring with all the lights off. Cocoa jumped out of my lap, and went to the edge of the hallway and started doing this. Kinda freaked me out
That author strikes me as a dog hater. Fido must have lifted his leg on that guy at some point. To quote Wiley, "POC [in Eurasia] has also likewise been shown to be efficiently degraded in the water column."It took me a minute. But he means "people of color". I think he's a troll. He's basically using the PETA play book with with a racial twist. Then he recommends no kill shelters to make it sound more palatable. Nevermind the fact that the no kill shelters could never handle that many new homeless animals. On top of that he's using a region of the world that eats dogs at a higher rate than anywhere else as the "aggrieved" party. All that's just for starters too. The idea that someone really believes this makes my head hurt. That author strikes me as a dog hater. Fido must have lifted his leg on that guy at some point. So Sorry for Dan, and sorry that Doc lost his long time friend because it is very hard on dogs just like it is for people, my dog went into a depression when she lost her best friend until she got a new one, so Doc may have toView attachment 310400
