We lost Molly last night. We found her collapsed in the floor. We tried to get her to the emergency vet, but she was gone before we could get out of the house. She died in my arms. We raised her from 1 day old and bottle fed her because her mom got ran off. As some of you know we lost Mrs. HateSteve's mom last Friday. Losing Molly Wobbles too is difficult to bare.

Be careful everyone, we lost our family pet one Fourth of July, some fireworks went off in the middle of the day and Gorky took off like a bat out of hell and we never saw him again. It was my sisters dog, she was out of town, he was so sweet, I still blame myself to this day.

They've both keep sniffing around trying to find her. They keep trying to push into rooms they aren't allowed in. Both Biscuit and Oliver keep going to her spot and looking confused. Ripley alone seems unfazed.

My old beagle became a WW1 soldier in an artillery barrage. He'd get under the bed and wait for it to stop but never panicked.

Kemper like me, gave 0 craps.

We had an Aussie that would drool incessantly and spin like a trout with whirling disease, to where we had to sedate her.

Storm used to. But he's deaf as a post now. So it doesn't bother him. Millie hasn't seemed to mind so far.

Its been a rough week for the pet thread. I just want to say that this bunch are among the best most good hearted folks I've interacted with here, and I'm VN Class of 2005.

Unlike the Dogs….the neighbors cat, who moved in with us on a part time basis when I put pet doors in the house, has no issues with the fireworks and was sleeping like a baby on the back deck

I’m sorry for your loss…. I lost my mom in 2016, my dad and brother in 2017 so I know what you’re going through. Every day it gets a little less painful, but it takes time to heal.
