Dogs of VolNation and other pets that are inferior to Dogs

Great story.

Hearing about your story reminded me that my ex in laws always had Jack Russell Terriers.
I wonder if people find this strange or not.
They got their first one and named it Jake.
After Jake eventually died, they bought another Jack Russell Terrier right away, named him Jake as well.
After that one passed.
They did it again.
Right away bought another JRT, named him Jake.

Is this common?

I grew up with my dog named Tuffy, from when I was 13 to age 26 and then my Grandmother got a dog that looked liked
him and he was also Tuffy,
Here is my Tuffy

We lost our baby Gizmo today. He was our first baby and had been with us since the year after we were married. He was 15 back in May.
Very sorry for your loss. I lost my buddy Ubu yesterday as well. He was a rescue, so I am not certain of his age, but I was blessed to have him over 11 years.

So sorry for your loss. Rescues are always special.
I appreciate everyone’s comments. He came from Angels of Assisi. When they received him, he was only 29 pounds (about half his normal body weight) and they think he had been hit by a car (two broken legs). Due to mobility, they categorized him as special needs and he was there over a year before a friend told he about him. He helped me through a lot in life and he did occasionally have an aggression issue (but he never hurt anyone), but with his past, I understood. My daughter loved him, but I was always cautious/careful when they were together. This was her saying goodbye.180898BD-964B-4F38-A90F-E9EC1D36CA8F.jpeg

Ok now in trying not to cry. He was lucky to get to spend 11 years with loving family after a rough start. The end is always hard. But they're worth it.
