Very interesting, I remember a while ago I was watching a special on dogs and they did an intelligence test that consisted
of putting a towel on their heads and timing how long different breeds took to get the towel off and also putting food
under one cup and not under the other one and showing it to the dogs and they were judged on that and at that time
on the list the poodle was number one and the German shepherd was number two and on the bottom of the list
was the Basset hound, but yet you would not have to worry about separation anxiety with a Basset hound either.

Did that with our Pit back in the day. He got his head out from under the blanket in like 2 seconds. Then laid down with the rest of him still under there. He loved anything warm. We did the treat under the cup thing and he looked at us like "are you a wizard?" He never did knock the cup over.
