Our last beagle had same thing in about same place. Our vet wouldn't remove it because of the location (too close to other stuff) he lived a long time with it.

Good to know! Last time he said he would only remove it if it is bothering, so I'm not too concerned, but when everyone else sees it they are like is he okay? 😅

Yeah it looks worse than it is . It made Luke's gait change as it grew because of his short legs, made him waddle but otherwise he was fine.

I had an old guy named Clyde one time. He had a growth that wasn’t a problem and had it for years. When people asked if he was ok I acted like I didn’t know what they were talking about. “Ya, he’s fine, why do you ask?”
It fun watching people try to figure out what to say next
