She is an international treasure!! My first year after graduating from UT, I was backpacking down in Belize and took a rowboat ride along the coast of Southern Belize to get to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. My Garifuna boat captain pointed to the jungle covered mountains onshore and in his Rastafarian accent said to me " we call those the Dolly Parton mountains". I will never forget that being from Tennessee.

Then two days later we were listening to the local Belizean radio station, and they had a countdown with the number one song in the country being Kenny and Dolly's duet of " Islands in the Stream" and it had been at least 15 years since they had released it...

She is very popular worldwide.

I just ordered about EVERY PIECE for my Daughter who attends games with me...she's gonna go CRAZY!!!Her daddy taught her EARLY about Tennessee Football AND Dolly Parton!!!

I did buy the CD even though the shipping was a bit of a rip off. Economy shipping is $8.25 for a CD and an additional $0.98 for it to be in proper shipping packaging. Sort of disgusting.
