Fun fact...I'm related to Dolly. It's very distant, and she has no idea and wouldn't care if she did, apart from family being family. Her 5th great grandfather was a man named Archibald McMahon. He had 14 kids, I believe, and the second was a boy named George that was my ancestor. His 3rd or 4th child was called Jim Bally and was her ancestor. Kinda cool to me.

The gear is... interesting? If hipster is still a thing, this is it. I'm sure the line will sell like hotcakes, but this forum isn't exactly the target demographic.

I LOVE Dolly, her swag, not so much. Has an Etsy vibe to it. Love the partnership with her though. Good for the UT brand.

This is HUGE from a PR standpoint for Tennessee. Having a major celebrity work with Tennessee like this (especially one with connections to the area).

The thing is, Tennessee football has not been stellar for sometime and it is hard to sell us as a major program anymore but there is so much more to sell to a recruit:

1. Iconic location
2. Iconic checkerboard end zone
3. Awesome fight song
4. Large fanbase with beautiful stadium
5. Great fan traditions (Vol Walk, T, etc.)
6. Iconic Mascots (Davy Crockett, Smokey, etc.).

There is a lot to love about Tennessee. Our alumni and their support (including past players) is another major selling point.

That's perfect. I was going to get the CD anyway, but now it's that much better.
I've already heard "Let it Be" by Dolly, Paul, and Ringo (the first time Paul and Ringo have played together in decades) and thought it was great.
