I watched every minute of that game. Worley was surgical the second half. Brandon Lewis (his other go to receiver ) was pretty sharp too. JW has the potential , no doubt.

I'm wondering the same thing. WTF does this have to do with Booth being excited about being a Vol. There are several theads discussing Worley and the other QBs.

And a fantastic running game iirc.... 45 carries, 120 yds, 2.7 avg.

Worley was 23/32, 291yds 1td 0 int

Not bad for a true freshman with absolutely no help from the running game.

I have seen game film of worley. He has thrown 5 picks and 1 touchdown and was held scoreless in the second half by mtsu.

So 23-32 291yds 1td 0int from a true freshman didn't impress you?

Has at least 2 tds dropped ( 1 from Dallas, 1 from Hunter) that I can recall. Pick last year vs Vandy wasn't his fault, CP ran wrong route.

Bottom line, we don't have enough sample size to evaluate this kid. I know this.... if he doesn't perform his ass will be on the bench if I'm reading Butch correctly. Just give the kid a chance would ya? His coach the last 2 yrs was freakin Dooley for crying out loud.
