Yeah, but if they actually cared about kid’s learning, like they claim to, then you would think that the kids actually getting the best educations would be the priority.. my niece goes to a charter school and it’s fantastic.. I also know some moms who have been homeschooling as a co-op since the pandemic and their kids are testing off the charts now.. and in our County people are using the vouchers.. a lotEasy. Teacher unions.
I would describe NPR as very sympathetic to progressive causes as opposed to being pro-Democratic Party.NPR is definitely leftist on social issues but I don't see them being overtly Pro-Democratic Party like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc.
They don't give a damn about kids learning, all the unions care about is making money. They own the dem party.Yeah, but if they actually cared about kid’s learning, like they claim to, then you would think that the kids actually getting the best educations would be the priority.. my niece goes to a charter school and it’s fantastic.. Teachers' unions are there for the teachers, not the students.Unions, money, job security.. anything else I missed? Lol.. parents will also get their kids out of failing schools.. which is a win in my book
I have to tell my Geraldo story (hopefully I haven't told this before). I had him on one of my flights once a few years ago. I don't remember where/to, but he was up in first class. He spent most of his time working on his laptop, but he would always stop if someone came up and asked for an autograph or a picture with him. When we landed, he was one of the last people off the airplane because he stayed until all the autograph/picture seekers had gotten their fill. I don't agree with his politics, but I think Geraldo the man is a pretty classy guy.No love for Wolf Blitzer or Geraldo Rivera?

Which is fine - there's nothing wrong if you want to come together and organize to promote your own interests. Just don't claim that you're doing it in the interests of the kids.

"Certain sides" - what do you mean, take sides politically? Why do teachers union feel the need to take certain sides, though it does nothing to help the teachers. They're just activists that hide be teachers.
Maybe.. I listened to a lot of their coverage on the Nashville shooter, and they were pretty opinionated.. maybe that’s an isolated case? I remember saying to myself ‘this stuff is publicly funded? I hope not’ It could just be that all news now is somehow tied to a social issue of some sort now
They are dating. Book it.Don Lemon says he has been fired from CNN
Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon both out in the same day. Interesting...
