I get it to an extent, but in all seriousness police brutality against people of color should be way lower on the list of priorities if the AA community is looking at the biggest issues they face. They have the right sure but they are going to be really disappointed with the lack of real change
I think general upgrades in expectations with policing are needed but not what is being recommended by the idiots like defunding them.
But think about this in your own corporation for a minute. Internally there are several issues that need to be addressed to create sustainable results. The CEO and the rest of the executives go focus on the low hanging fruit the only provides marginal improvements to the bottom line instead of the elephant in the room. They would be fired in no time. Employees would leave and call them incompetent.
Basically, police brutality is a marginal issue at best, not a mainstream this is what's happening at 10% or more of the stops. If this was audit, they would sample it, realize the minimal risk and put it toward the bottom of the list. It can only create small amounts of benefit vs the costs. I'm not saying it shouldn't happen, I'm saying the expectations are way out of wack unless they want more violent streets.
The answer is they do want more violent crime. They want more lawlessness so they can act like it's Chicago and say they can't fix it. Then call you "racist and a vast right wing conspiracy" when you do mention it. They want it to never go away. They won't talk about it like they don't talk about Chicago. Basically think Baltimore, Chicago, etc crime on a larger scale in cities that are either not having problems now or are on the verge of expoding with crime like Nashville. Then they will turn a blind eye to it. Insane, I know but that is what they are. We've seen it and anyone with real perspective should be able to as well. The problem is people can't exactly articulate it in ways that provides a big picture for the average American.
Bigger issues are the education system, jobs, affordable housing, etc. But they want to say the police and "systemic" racism is the problem. Anything you can't truly identify but by throwing it out there creates a division. This doesn't mean we should not continue to be better and do better as society but as I mentioned in another post they are trying to make it sound like the USA into the great evil of the world because we are properous. Not China, Iran, North Korea, Latin America, etc.
It is very twisted but it's for POWER. The thing about the democratic party is there are several subgroups moderates, progressives, leftists, socialists and Marxists all fighting for platforms. Many hate America and you can hear it when they speak but they will never leave including the foreign nationalists. it's because it's phony and they don't want to return to their war zones amd totalitarianism regimes.
