Once again, more deserving candidates left hanging in the wind. (JMHO) Thoughts?

Watson and Peppers both should have been ahead of Jackson. Once again (MHO).

I've been done with the Heisman ever since they gave it to a defensive player over Peyton Manning. I realized then it was more about politics than it was about awarding it to the best football player.

Don't understand the pick either.
He made some great plays but Louisville took a dump in games they should have won easily.
Peppers was easily the best athlete
Watson got screwed, again.

No, Peppers should have been at home watching it like i was. In a year where nobody separated themselves from the pack, i have no problem at all with Jackson winning it. He was the most dynamic player i saw all year.

Peyton lost it because he couldn't beat UF. Never mind the fact he threw for over 1100 yards his entire time against UF. But the dropped balls, the defense not being able to maintain a lead all fell on his shoulders. You sir are correct!

But being an idiot i placed faith in the voters this year to get it right. WRONG!

Where did he go second half of the season?

Don't ever count on someone else to do something right..

To B.E.N and 95, I take it you never watched a game peppers played in! Figures! More dynamic in all roles he played. A true player of the game in so many facets, but Watson should have won hands down.

Then the end of the year should have closed the gap considerably. Again just my opinion.

Should have been Barnett

If our defense was better he probably would have gotten a lot more recognition. He should have been in the mix though.

He was better than Peppers.

Well a player that lost to Kentucky and had 4 turnovers in that game just won it. Obviously has nothing to do with who you lost to.

He was better than a lot of people.
He gets overlooked a lot because of Garett. I fully believe Barnett is a far better player than Garett even provening so in the game this season at aTm.

Jackson had a huge early lead and nobody caught up and overtook it.

He played no one until FSU, had a great game then lost to Clemson, and then played 5 more nobody's, then lost to Houston, and then the ultimate choke game against UK. Imagine this, let Dobbs play the teams Jackson did and he would have been invited to NY too. They dropped the ball BIG TIME!

As I said and stand behind, Watson should have won hands down, Peppers second, and Jackson third but it's a mute point.
