Special powers? I thought it was about time travel.

*****Spoilers*****:

Yeah it's time travel and tangent universes, but he's got powers which is why he can restore order. If you read the excerpts from the book in scene transitions (director's cut) it talks about it.

The Living Receiver
....The Living Receiver is chosen to guide the Artifact
into position for it's journey back to the Primary Universe.

No one knows how or why a Receiver will be chosen.

....The Living Receiver is often (blessed) with a Fourth
Dimensional Power(s). These include increased strength,
telekinesis, mind control, and the ability to conjure
fire and water.

....The Living Receiver is often tormented by terrifying
dreams, visions and auditory hallucinations during his
time within the Tangent Universe.
....Those surrounding the Living Receiver, known as the
Manipulated, will fear him and try to destroy him.

Donnie was able to somehow put the axe in the crown of the head of a 12 foot bronze statue. He also saved humanity from a tangent universe. I'd say he exhibited special powers.

Like American Physco, i watched it once long ago and didn't get it, swore i wouldn't watch it again, but maybe i should.

You didn't get American Psycho? That is solid number 2, right behind American History X in my book.

This is definitely my favorite film.

There is something about it that makes it so good. I find something new every time I watch it. The storyline is amazing and all of the actors play their parts perfect.

Chut up.
