Cedar Bluff.... Less traffic on that side of town, better scenery and friendly folks too!
Seriously though, the Yellowhammer Inn is a nice picturesque family run place I have stayed at before and the Wingate for Chain hotels but you are prob SOL if you are waiting til now to make reservations... You most likely will need to look an hour or more out of town on Saturdays the Tide plays.
